My cousin Roberta (Bird) and her husband, Smokey (pictured above) provide foster care for dogs. When we were visiting in March, this little dog, Zorilla, was one of the dogs for which they were trying to find a home. She was rescued and has been spayed, and I think she has already stolen Smokey's heart. Bird volunteers at an veternary clinic where dogs are neutered.
